The estate

A family affair

The Bourgoin family has been growing vines in Spoy, in the heart of the Côte des Bar, for decades. Roger and Edwige worked together on the estate, building the vineyard and expanding it to its current area of nearly five hectares. Floriane and Thomas have now decided to continue this work, harnessing and perpetuating it for future generations.

An exceptional terroir

With Spoy as our single terroir, we benefit from limestone and clay soils that enable our Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes to express themselves to the full. The Beurillon vale, where our vineyard has its home, combines several climates. This rich environment results in an exceptional terroir: our vines are surrounded by woods, fallow land, streams and fruit trees that form green corridors and provide havens for biodiversity.

Responsible winemaking

Our terroir-based approach to wine growing aims to preserve and enhance this ecosystem by using environmentally-friendly practices. We hold level 3 HVE (high environmental value) certification, attesting to our commitment to cultivation using techniques that always put the environment and biodiversity first.
